Acerca de la feria

The Carpet Weaving Kilim program, which was opened in 1994-1995 in the Traditional Handicrafts Department within the Eşme Vocational School, was revised again in 2021-2022 and student admission has begun. Carpet and Kilim Program, which has a very rich spectrum in terms of both economy and culture, is a program that provides education and training with the care of an artist. While raising intermediate staff for the carpet industry economically, it also teaches new generations to live in the future by teaching the weavings of our material cultures (hand-woven carpet, kilim, cicim, zili, sumac, etc.) that have cultural and artistic value, without being lost today.
